The dyson fan is the creation of Sir James Dyson, the inventor who revolutionized vacuum cleaners with his innovative method for moving air.
he Air Multipler is 15 times more efficient than a standard blade fan and expels a greater and smoother flow of air.
"Normal fans chop up the air with the blade, which is very uncomfortable when you are sitting in front of a fan. It buffers you. This is far smoother," says Dyson.
Air is sucked in through the base and expelled through a gap in a circular ring. The air travels over an airfoil through the gap and draws in surrounding air creating a larger flow.
About 405 litres of air are expelled per second.
